Steam Machines, Inc., is proud to announce the first public unveiling of it's military version computer controlled closed circuit rebreather - the PRISM Invader.
PRISM equipment testing with the US Navy has been ongoing since early 2001. The PRISM Invader successfully passed Phases I & II of unmanned testing (see details of this testing and report here.) It now awaits the final report from recently completed Phase III: Manned Testing. This phase of testing included user training, maintenance/technician training, as well as a full dive program conducted in the Ocean Simulator Facility, at the Navy Experimental Diving Unit in Panama City, FL, during September 2002.
These tests are the first time a recreational closed circuit system will have made the transition from the sport diver to the military diver.
For further information on Steam Machines, Inc., closed circuit systems, the PRISM Invader or Topaz, please visit us at Dema 2002 in booth #4717.
