President and Founder of Steam Machines, Inc.

A former British Merchant Marine Engineering Officer, Peter has used his comprehensive engineering background over the years to introduce innovative designs and products into the rebreather sector, consulting for and working with such companies as Drager, Fullerton Sherwood Engineering, Carleton Technologies, Cochran Consulting and Carmellan Research.

A qualified commercial diver, Peter is also a Workshop Director for NAUI's (National Association of Underwater Instructors) rebreather and technical training programs, member of the NAUI Rebreather Advisory Board, and Instructor Trainer for IANTD's (International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers) rebreather and technical training programs.

A guest speaker at several national and international conferences, Peter has been published by such organizations as the AAUS (American Academy of Underwater Sciences) and the Pacific Congress on Marine Science and Technology (PACON).

Peter now concentrates on the design, engineering and production for SMI. He also oversees and conducts Instructor Training and specialised dive training.
